How is it already December? I don’t know about you guys but the last few months have been a blur and I still can’t believe there are only 2.5 weeks left in the year! Usually by this time I’ve put up my Christmas tree, bought and signed my cards and even baked up some treats. This year, not so much. For some reason its just been harder to get into the spirt of the season.
In the hopes of trying to awaken the Christmas spirit inside, I made plans with a dear friend to hit up the Christmas Market held in the Distillery District. It’s a yearly event but the weather at this time of year has usually not worked in my favour. Those who know me best know about my “hibernation mode” that hits as soon as the temperature drops below zero.
The market was adorable. Just full of all the little things that can make a person smile – delicious food, hot drinks, beautiful Christmas decor and inspiring gift ideas for your loved ones. It honestly was a perfect and simple way to spend an evening in the city. To take advantage of the shops and the actual market it doesn’t hurt to go a little bit earlier in the day.
The market is open for another week (Until the 21st) so definitely cross it off your winter bucket list 🙂
