So I think we’re done with the snow. I might be jinxing myself but I feel it. I’m still wearing a big winter scarf as I write this post so I mean who knows right? In continuing with my promise to give you guys my top 3-5 recommendations of what to do each month, here is my roundup for May. Some of these events are coming up so if you’re interested make sure to try and grab tickets sooner than later.
I think for June I might do a patio roundup. All my the patios I’m most looking forward to checking out.
Tastemaker Toronto
The Tastemaker Tour brings together the best in what the city has to offer from food, drinks and entertainment. Its a huge party featuring the Tastemaker Kitchen where chefs get paired up to create a dish that is only available for that session, the Tastemaker Bar where Toronto’s best mixologists create drinks available again, only at that session. To avoid FOMO, you’re gonna wanna attend.

Doors Open Toronto
This is probably one of my most favourite events of the year. Its a chance to see areas in Toronto that are typically not open to the public. This year there will be more than 150 of the most architecturally, historically, culturally and socially significant buildings open across the city. This year’s theme – 20 Something – focuses on the event’s past and future, celebrating the first 20 years of Doors Open Toronto while looking forward to the next 20 years!
